Alqualond?, the Haven of the Swans or Swanhaven, is also called simply The Haven: 97, 101 Helcar The Inland Sea in the northeast of Middle-earth, where once stood the mountain of the lamp of Illuin; the mere of Cuivi?nen where the first Elves awoke is described as a bay in this sea.
The strait between Araman and Middle-earth; also referred to as the Grinding Ice.

As for the last two lines: Alqualondë (literally Swan-haven), which I took the liberty of shortening to Alqualond for poetic reasons, is a port in Valinor.
Though it is not right next to Alqualondë, it is easy for me to imagine the Elves, who longed to be in Valinor with the Valar, speaking of it so.
The ships there are shaped in the form of swans (the model for the ships of Lothlórien).

They reached the Teleri's port-city, Alqualondë, and were forbidden to use the Teleri's boats to get to Middle-earth.
Feänor's host sailed on the boats, leaving Fingolfin's behind - who crossed over to Middle-earth on the Helcaraxë or Grinding Ice in the far north, losing many.
