Topic: Barahir (Steward)

 Human Section
Barahir wrote the full account of "The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen" some time after the passing of the King, according to The Fellowship 's "Prologue".
Instead, they may have worked on him through Faramir.
Seeing that he was a man, Elrond told Estel that he was Aragorn son of Arathorn and the Lord of the Dúnedain.

 Maiar Section
Sauron would become entangled in the 'dooms' of those days (as did many), most notably the oath of Finrod Felagund to Barahir and his kin, the doom of Huan hound of Valinor, and the fate of Beren and Luthien.
Felagund with his power made Beren, himself and their companions disguises in the likeness of orcs.
Beren was at that time travelling with Finrod Felagund who had left his own kingdom to fulfill his oath to Barahir and his kin.

 The Chroniclers of Arda
The evil queen Berúthiel had the honour of being erased from its pages [4].
The Book of the Stewards was a record, probably similar to the Book of the Kings.
From this time onward was probably added, at various times, material from the archives in Gondor, made available to Frodo and Peregrin Took by King Elessar; notably the volumes The Book of the Kings, The Book of the Stewards, and the Akallabêth [3].

 Objects of Middle-earth
After Arnor was divided into three kingdoms, the ring passed to the kings of Arthedain.
Tar-Elendil, the fourth King of Numenor, gave the ring to his daughter Silmarien, from whom the Lords of Andunie were descended.
In this place I will abide, and my heirs, unto the ending of the world.")

 Encyclopedia of Arda: Barahir
The grandson of Steward Faramir and Éowyn of Rohan, who is recorded as having written The Tale of Aragorn and Arwen, at some point during the second century of the Fourth Age.
Except for his grandparents Faramir and Éowyn, the details of Barahir's descent are uncertain.
This would in turn presumably see Barahir inheriting the titles of Steward of Gondor and Prince of Ithilien, though it should be emphasised that none of this is explicitly stated by Tolkien.

Middle-earth RPG - Realms and Rulers of Eä
Faramir was raised in a warm and loving home, his father Peregrin fascinating him with stories of far-off lands far beyond the Eastern Mountains.
Due to his father's great love of Gondor and her stewards, he named his son after Faramir, the current Prince of Ithilien at that time.
Elessar's death, however, forced him to take up the long journey to Gondor once more.

The Line of Hurin - Stewards of Gondor
He was nearly burned by Denethor (see 12), but was saved by Gandalf, (and I should add, that by Pippin and Beregond the guardsman also), and was healed by Aragorn (Elessar), to whom he was afterwards Steward.
Aragorn also gave to him and to Éowyn his wife the land of Ithilien to be their princedom, and added to it the hills of Emyn Arnen.
= Fourth Age Note 1: He was the Steward of King Ondoher, and ruled for a year after his death.

 Encyclopedia of Arda: Barahir
Barahir ruled as Steward for seventeen years, and was succeeded by his son Dior.
Barahir's grandson was Denethor, the son of his daughter Rían, who was a young noble of just twenty at the time Barahir became Steward.
Given Barahir's great age, it is not surprising that his rule, and that of his son Dior, were brief ones.
