Biography - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Biography (from the Greek words bios meaning life, and graphein meaning write) is a genre of literature and other forms of media like film, based on the written accounts of individual lives.
The book was an account of the life of the fabled King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table.
The most famous of these such biographies was Le Morte d'Arthur by Sir Thomas Malory.

 Newton
Westfall (see [Never at Rest: A Biography of Isaac Newton (1990).',23)" onmouseover="window.status='Click to see reference';return true">23] or [The Life of Isaac Newton (Cambridge, 1993).',24)" onmouseover="window.status='Click to see reference';return true">24]) has suggested that Newton may have had Humphrey Babington, a distant relative who was a Fellow of Trinity, as his patron.
Isaac Newton was born in the manor house of Woolsthorpe, near Grantham in Lincolnshire.
Given the rage that Newton had shown throughout his life when criticised, it is not surprising that he flew into an irrational temper directed against Leibniz.

 Charlemagne's Biography
eyond the legends of Charlemagne lies a biography worthy of the tales.
It follows the plan of Suetonius’ Lives of the Caesars, and even snatches passages therefrom to apply to Charlemagne; but all is forgiven to an author who modestly describes himself as “a barbarian, very little versed in the Roman tongue.”
To the medieval mind, only King Arthur vied with Charlemagne as the finest example of what a Christian king could be.

CATHOLIC ENCYCLOPEDIA: St. Francis of Assisi
The fact that there is no record of this Indulgence in either the papal or diocesan archives and no allusion to it in the earliest biographies of Francis or other contemporary documents has led some writers to reject the whole story.
Recent years have witnessed a truly remarkable upgrowth of interest in the life and work of St. Francis, more especially among non-Catholics, and Assisi has become in consequence the goal of a new race of pilgrims.
It is upon these works that all the later biographies of Francis's life are based.
