 Gorlim - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Tolkien's Middle-earth legendarium, Gorlim was one of the companions of Barahir.
He had twelve companions, one of these Gorlim, son of Angrim, but all their kin were scattered or killed.
In the Tale of Beren and Lúthien in The Silmarillion it is described how Barahir, last lord of the Men of Ladros (Dorthonion), remained as an outlaw in his own land after it was lost to Morgoth in the Dagor Bragollach.

Emeldir -Called the Man-hearted, she was the wife of Barahir and mother of Beren, she led the women and children out of Dorthonion after the Dagor Bragollach (Battle of Sudden Flame).

Some of the names are found in the book The Shaping of Middle-earth and some in the Lays of Beleriand from where the part of the Lay of Leithian are copied.
They were in the end betrayed by Gorlim the Unhappy and were all slain save Beren Onehand who were out hunting alone.
