I do think that it's funny that the well scrubbed, PC approved young persons pictured above are given the names of the characters and are as non-offensive in appearance as can be humanly calculated.
I knew that Parker Stevenson was in a live-action version (I read his Baywatch bio!) of the Boys but I was totally unaware that they solved mysteries and played in a rock 'n' roll band in a cartooned fashion.
