In the stern sat Aragorn son of Arathorn, proud and erect, guiding the boat with skilful strokes; his hood was cast back, and his dark hair was blowing in the wind, a light was in his eyes: a king returning from exile to his own land.
And they named him Elfstone, because of the green stone that he wore, and so the name which it was foretold at his birth that he should bear was chosen for him by his own people.

FanFiction.Net Story : The Choice of King Elessar
I must be the strong and noble King with his beautiful, devoted Queen by his side, and half of my heart rejoices that I have the love of such a woman as she.
They deserve a King they can look up to, a figurehead upon which to focus their respect and their love, someone who can lead them out of the dark times and into the light of the new Age.
And how could I ever hurt Arwen, expose her to ridicule, by keeping a lover?
